Journal Entry # 1 [68/365]

As a Project Engineer for XinChuan International, my second day on the job presented unique challenges. My main responsibility was to supervise the group of men in the photos, ensuring they were following safety protocols and completing tasks accurately.

One of the major obstacles I faced was the language barrier with my boss, Mr. Shen. He is a Chinese citizen who struggles with English, which made communication and instruction-giving difficult at times.

Despite these challenges, I remained determined to succeed in my role. As I looked ahead, I realized that graduation was just two months away. This experience will undoubtedly be invaluable as I move into the next chapter of my life after college.

Overall, I'm excited to embrace the challenges of this job and the experiences that will come with it. It's all part of the journey, and I'm eager to see where it takes me.
