Journal Entry #3 [69/365]
This morning, I had an insightful conversation with my colleagues about the importance of empathy in leadership. It's crucial to understand that regardless of one's position, everyone deserves respect and the chance to voice their opinions. Unfortunately, our Chinese boss seems to be struggling with this, making unilateral decisions without listening to our input. This causes a lot of frustration and makes our work more difficult.
We began drilling at 10 am, but our boss's unclear instructions made the process more challenging. It's evident that communication and delegation are not his strongest qualities, which is problematic for us as a team.
After a stressful morning, I decided to treat myself to lunch at Chia. I tried their French toast and omelet, and I must say, it was delicious! I'd rate it an 8/10, and I highly recommend it to others.
Now, it's time to get back to work. Ciao!
